Major new exhibition design for the Barbican

We're happy to announce that we have been chosen to design a major new exhibition at the Barbican Centre, opening in May 2019.  

AI: More Than Human will be an unprecedented survey of creative and scientific developments in Artificial Intelligence, exploring the evolution of the relationship between humans and technology. 

Tonkin Liu's exhibition design will transport visitors to an infinite, otherworldly place beyond the walls of The Curve, the Barbican's second gallery. Utilising hung fabric screens, mirrored walls, and floating artefact megaliths, the spatial sequence will offer the visitor an immersive journey through the iconic gallery.
